Lakebase Search

• lakebase have added two native search extensions lakebase_vector (which wraps pgvector, which we currently use) and lakebase_text (which wraps tsvector, which we currently use); they’re optimized for databricks infrastructure so give performance benefits by default, but the the lakebase_text extension is a nice addition because it gives us full bm25 support (only full-text search was available on lakebase previously because the the pg_textsearch extension is not available), nice!
